Best of Both Worlds

Sage and I have a new book out. Since she wrote such a great announcement I stole it:

So, have you bought The Best of Both Worlds: Bisexual Erotica yet? Really, you should. And I'm not just saying that because I'm the co-editor.

M. Christian and I are really proud of this book. Each story presents a different perspective on bisexuality (and I don't mean "for" or "against") and the writing is nothing less than top-notch. Take a look at the table of contents and judge for yourself:

Contents:
Preface
Framing Desire (Stacy Reed)
My Attempts at Polyamory (Clint Catalyst)
MMF (Kit)
Dancing with Rebecca (Brian Frank)
What If? (Rachel Kramer Bussel)
Three Balls (Callum James)
Sex with His Ex (Jennifer Whitlock)
Lost in the Translation (Heather Lee Alexander)
Boy in the Middle (Patrick Califia)
Breaking Point (Bryn Colvin)
Strategy (Sage Vivant)
On the Care and Feeding of White Boys (R. Gay)
A Garden Called You (Jamie Joy Gatto)
Losers (Mark Wildyr)
I Kiss’d Thee Ere I Kill’d Kiss’d Thee (Caralee Levy)
In the Dark, All Cats Are Grey (Jason Rubis)
Married, but Not Dead (Colt Spencer)
Joy: Portrait of a Bisexual Sex Writer (Joy VanNuys)
Afterlife (Susan St. Aubin)
Queer I and the Straight Guy (Bree Coven)
Bare Arms Waving (Tara Alton)
The Stranger (Thomas S. Roche)
Standing, Bare (Sharon Wachsler)
Love (M. Christian)

We think you'll love it.

In fact, as a result of this book, yours truly was quoted in a recent MSN article about bisexuality. (Thanks, Bree!)

Buy My Books On Amazon

Just in case you're thinking of doing some early Xmas Shopping: My Books

Hear Sage Vivant!

Not only is she a great writer but she has a wonderful (and sexy) voice:

Like to listen to stories? Have a special fondness for your iPod? Then you'll be glad to know that Custom Erotica Source now offers *free* weekly podcasts! What's in these podcasts? Why, a story, of course! Called "Four Minutes, Once a Week," the podcast is a short erotic story read by yours truly that takes roughly four minutes to listen to, start to finish. Everybody can find four minutes a week to dedicate to lewd literature, can't they? Every Tuesday, visit http://sage.libsyn.com/ and download a Quickie.

YOU DON'T EVEN NEED AN iPOD
It's not even necessary to have an iPod or other digital audio player. Having access to a computer will do you just fine.

HOW TO LISTEN TO A PODCAST
It's easy. There are basically three ways to listen:
-- Go to http://sage.libsyn.com/ and either listen
online or save the file to your computer (this is the simplest way).
-- Starting in the next day or two, you should be able to search the Podcast area in iTunes and find my podcast. Just search under "Sage Vivant" and it should come up. Once you find it, you can either listen or download it to your iTunes.
-- Download a podcatcher -- called an aggregator -- and subscribe to the podcasts you want to receive. Popular ones are iPodderX and iPodder; also check out Podcast Alley and iPodder.org for more information and podcast listings/directories.

SUBSCRIBE FOR FREE
When you find my podcast -- called "Four Minutes, Once a Week" -- on iTunes (and I'm hoping that it will be available there a couple of days from now, barring any censorship restrictions they might suddenly decide to enforce), you can click a button and you'll be subscribed to it weekly. That means every Sage Vivant podcast will be delivered to your iTunes. Could anything be easier?

If you're technically savvy and know what an RSS feed is, you can subscribe to it: http://sage.libsyn.com/rss

If you like what you hear, remember that you can always get a story from CES recorded onto a CD. We're into aural sex here... See you at http://sage.libsyn.com/

When is a blog not a blog?

This may be a blog but it really isn’t a ‘blog.’ Bear with me.

While I like – and read – various blogs by various writers, this isn’t going to be one of those. Not because I’m not a writer, because I am …or try to be. Not because this isn’t a blog, because that’s what it is -- technically.

If you’re familiar with my old site you know I had this silly habit of putting “I’m busy” into my journal page. Aside from being accurate, the phrase also helped me define this blog. Every time I thought about, say, divulging what I’m listening to on my iPod, what shows I’m watching, what books I’m reading, sharing gossip, going on about politics (don’t get me started), bitching about whatever makes me angry, and so forth, I realized that I just simply don't have the time.

So even though this is a blog, I won’t be treating it like most of the ones you've probably seen. Sure, I may be posting some silly stuff now and then, but mostly this is going to be a place where I'll post what projects I’m working on, press releases, calls for submissions, good reviews (hey, I’m not dumb), book covers, and fun stuff like that.

I might like to treat this as a more personal blog but time isn’t on my side – because I’m damned busy … busy writing.
