I wish I could say that I find the wherewithal to post every day, but I don't.

Still, I wholeheartedly agree that if you are a writer, and you aren't blogging, you're doing yourself a huge disservice. Not only from a marketing perspective, but from the pleasure that comes of having such a two-way relationship with your readers. For me, that has been the major impetus to keep writing.
